Amy France, from Scott City, Kansas, serves as Chair of the National Sorghum Producers, making history as the first woman to hold a leadership officer role on NSP’s Board in the organization’s 70-year history. She has been a member of the NSP Board of Directors since 2018 and has served the agriculture industry at the county, state, and national levels for more than 15 years.
Before returning full-time to the family farm, Amy worked in rural banking. She and her husband, Clint, are third-generation farmers, working alongside their oldest son and daughter on their semi-arid western Kansas farm, where they grow grain sorghum, corn, and wheat, and raise Black Angus cattle.
